Who We Are
We're Here for You
Bringing Help and Hope at the End of Life
Like the butterfly, hospice is a symbol of transformation. We help people make the most important transformation in life, and we help them find hope even in the process of dying.
Our message of help and hope was inspired in the early years by the amazing contributions of people like Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and Cecily Saunders.
During her lifetime, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross was the world-renowned expert on death, dying and life's transitions. Cecily Saunders was the founder of the hospice movement in the United States.
We remain, to this day, committed to the ideals of these early pioneers and to our own roots, which are firmly grounded in our mission of compassionate care.
There's Always Hope
We believe that there’s always hope. Even when there’s no cure, there’s hope for living life to the fullest extent possible for the rest of your life.
There’s hope for the chance to put the business of life in good order; there’s hope that loved ones will live on in love and kindness with one another; and there’s hope in knowing there will be a peaceful end.
Hospice of The Gorge helps you find that hope in the most difficult of times. We help you care for those you love; we help you live life to the fullest; and we help you address the challenges that lie ahead.
We do all of this with a mission to compassionately support patients and families through the dying process.
