End-of-Life Care

For patients and those they love.

Karl and ChristineLet's face it.  Most people really don't like to talk about death and dying. Still, there comes a time when the subject of dying must be disucssed.

We can help.

We can help you find the right words to express what you're feeling, we can offer a gentle touch, we can help guide you along your journey, and we can provide you with a variety of services to make you feel comfortable and at ease.

Just as important, we can help you find hope, even in the process of dying ... hope to find meaning, hope for a peaceful end, and hope for what lies ahead.

We Can Help.

Our mission is to help people make gentle and peaceful transitions from this world to whatever may come next ... free of pain, and in the company of those they love.

Our focus is on providing care that comforts, rather than care that cures.

Comprehensive Services

We provide all of the medications and equipment you'll need to feel comfortable, we send nurses and other caregivers to your home, we provide spiritual support if you'd like to have it, and much more.

Please call us or email us so we can give you a complete description of the services we provide.

We're Specialists.

As an organization, we've been sharing end-of-life journeys with people for almost 30 years.

We're specially trained to handle the many and diverse situations that people face at the end-of-life.

  • We know how to talk with people.
  • We know which pain medications work in which situatons.
  • We know how to gently steer people through the maze of issues that are likely to come up when a loved one is in the process of dying.
  • We know how to provide the gentle care that's needed.

We Understand Your Needs.

FlowerPeople have needs at this time of life that go beyond the bounds of medical care. That's why we provide much more than medicine alone.

  • We know that families don't like to talk about these issues ... so we help them talk with one another.
  • We know that the loose ends of life can't be tied up if a person is in pain ... so we provide the medicines and treatments needed to alleviate any pain.
  • We know that often, matters of a spiritual nature trouble people more than anything else ... so we help people address and resolve whatever the problem may be, in accordance with their own beliefs.
  • We also know that families are sometimes not functioning well as a family unit ... so we help familiy members learn how to cope a little better in these sorts of difficult situations.

We're a Team.

Our staff is made up of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides ... and of course all of the people behind the scenes who deliver the equipment, order the medicines, and organize the plan of care.

Our "extended team" includes all of your other health care providers ... your personal physician, the staff of the assisted living or nursing facility you or your loved one may be living in, and any other caregivers who may be involved.

We're Here for You.

Any person in our service area who is facing the end of their life is eligible for our service.  We do not discriminate on any basis (other than if it involves the safety of our staff), and we care for all patients and their loved ones in accordance with the same gentle and loving standards.

We Have Never Denied Care.

For most of our patients, medicare or their insurance pays the bill. But some patients have either no insurance, or have less insurance than what's needed to cover the cost of care.

We are proud to say that with the help of our community, in all the years of our existence, we have never had to turn a patient away due to their inability to pay.
