Families Offer Their Thanks

Families of hospice patients offer feedback
that helps others.

Regardless of when your end-of-life journey begins, we'd like to help you along your path.

We'd like to give patients and families of hospice patients, the support you both need to make the transition one that's one enriched with love and filled with care.

Families of hospice patients help us achieve our mission of care by giving useful feedback. They tell us what we're doing right to help their loved ones, and they point out areas where we might improve.

Here are some of the things families of hospice patients have said about the support they received from Hospice of The Gorge.

A Letter of Thanks from a Family Member

On a more personal note, here's a letter from a family member of a hospice patient, that speaks to the type of care provided by Hospice of The Gorge...

To our friends at Hospice --

Thank you, thank you for your warm hearts and loving service. From beginning to end our experience with Hospice as been invaluable.

From the initial enrollment with Kathy, the phone calls, to the time with Don, the end visits by staff, the chaplain and our warm welcome at your office — all encounters were peppered with care and compassion.

Kathy, your care of Gerry and understanding at his wandering ways and unconventional life meant so much to him, and to us too. We drew strength from your kindness and care.

Your care at the end gave us courage, strength and stamina to make it to the finish line.

Thank you for coming to Gerry's memorial and for watching out for my girl!

You are all angels!

Love,

Gerry's entire family
