Facing the Many Choices in Life

Finding an assisted living home to live in may seem at first to be a daunting challenge.  But think about it ... we've each faced an overwhelming number and variety of choices throughout our lives. Looking back on them, one wonders how we ever coped with them all ...

• Who to ask to the high school prom
• Deciding on who to love and possibly marry
• Whether to have kids, and if so, how many
• Whether or not to quit the job you hated
• Deciding if you could afford that new car
• Knowing when to say no
• Deciding on what color to paint the house
• Making the choice of where to live

The quality of our lives, when you think about it, is in large measure determined by the choices that we make... and there are a ton of choices to be made!

Given the many, many choices we've made throughout our lives, making the choice of where to live when you need a little help, may for some people, seem like an easy choice to make.

Of course, we know it's really not so easy. It's a huge choice, and it often comes at a time when you would rather not have to make such a choice at all.

In an effort to help, we have listed on this page, the various assisted living and retirement home options available to you in the Columbia River Gorge. Their web addresses are also provided where available. We hope this list may help you in your search for a new home
