Volunteer for Hospice Hospice of The Gorge could not do what it does without the help of thousands of hours of volunteer assistance. As our patients do, our volunteers live in communities around the Columbia Gorge. Some choose to work with us frequently, others as their schedules permit or as their talents are needed. Some work directly with patients and their families; some work in our offices; some use their physical strength to deliver equipment and keep it in good shape. We are indebted to all of them. As a volunteer, you determine your availability and schedule. Volunteers who work directly with patients are required to complete our biannual training series, but anyone is welcome to participate.
