Past Recipients of Hospice Care: Thank-Yous

The care professionals who make up the Hospice of The Gorge team cannot help but to feel personally invested in patients and their families. Some of our patients stay on hospice for months, occasionally years. We, too, experience loss when they die—the blow is softened by the notes we receive afterwards:

• "Words cannot express my gratitude for all the time and effort; your insight into knowing exactly what to say and do. My mom really thought a lot of you."

• "It was such a comfort for me once I got my mom onto hospice care. I was very disturbed in the beginning that I wasn't doing all I needed to do. Hospice took over and helped me, easing my mind considerably."
